Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc. believes that electronic privacy is crucial to the ongoing success of the Internet as a service, commercial, and entertainment medium. Our policy is to keep the personal information we receive from our sites completely confidential, and used solely for internal purposes. We will not share your personal information with any other parties.

First time users are asked to set up an account when ordering from the website for the first time. All account information is handled through a secure server, so you will be asked to provide a unique login username and password to assure that your information remains available only to you. Returning customers who have previously established an account with us may change their account information at any time.

Credit Card Processing

For your protection, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc. does not collect, save or process credit card information on its servers. It uses third party vendors to perform credit card processing and payment transfer services through an electronic gateway. This means that once you complete checkout, and before entering any credit card information, you are redirected away from our servers to a highly secure third-party server where that information is collected and processed.

Shipping Policy

Orders received Monday through Wednesday are shipped by the following day for all overnight orders (orders placed Thursday through Sunday ship the first business day the following week).  Orders placed Monday and Tuesday with 2nd day are shipped the next day (Wednesday through Sunday ship the first business day the following week). Orders received Monday through Thursday with standard shipping are shipped the next business day (Friday through Sunday ship the first business day the following week). 

During the warm summer months, we only offer Overnight shipping.  We don’t want you to receive melted toffee as we cannot provide a refund for melting.  We have no control over what time FedEx delivers to your address so it may ride around in a warm truck all day long.  If you have questions about the best method to ship to your location, please give us a call at 800-883-3050.

General Shipping Information:

  • We do not ship orders on Friday.  The last orders will go out by noon MT on Thursday if you chose Overnight. Even then we may reserve judgment on the best time to ship based on weather.  Please plan accordingly.
  • We DO NOT ship to P.O. Boxes, FPOs or APOs.
  • No orders are shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
  • Even though we strive to get your order out the day we receive it, please allow up to 48 hours for processing your order, longer during busy holiday seasons.
  • Most orders are shipped via FedEx.
  • Our toffee is shipped from our factory in Colorado.
  • Overnight is the only option we ship during the warmer weather months.

Warm Weather Shipping

During the summer months, Overnightis the only option you can choose due to heat and humidity. We do not refund for melting, therefore Overnight shipping is the safest option.    Thank you.


Return Policy

Your complete satisfaction is our highest priority. If for any reason you or the recipient of our toffee is unhappy with the order, please contact us and we will either credit your account or replace the merchandise.

Please note: We do not guarantee shipping chocolate products using the Standard Ground shipping option in the summer. The heat will melt the chocolate. We advise that you upgrade your shipping option to Overnight Shipping. Please see our Shipping Policies for more information.
